B & B Coach B & B Coach Inc., 1970s-1980s; Duncanville, Texas Manufactured on the new downsized Buick and Oldsmobile station wagon chassis, B & Bs funeral coaches were intended to give an economical option to those directors who wanted a new hearse, but were unable or unwilling to pay the price of a Cadillac. B & B's hearses were stretched from 16"-18" and featured a raised roof and a modified rear loading door. Those cars were stretched about 16 or 18 inches, and used the stock station wagon side doors for the first couple of years. By 1980, the rear side doors were extended as much as the chassis, so no new side body panels were needed in the conversion process. B & B built some, although not many, hearses on the Cadillac chassis too. Those were not particularly attractive and were built from extended 4-door sedans.
